We understand the operational and technical issues related to geospatial application and recognize the benefits that geospatial technology and applications deliver when implemented as a fundamental component of a projects' data management system. The Geospatial Services team is able to provide the following services to clients:
Field based mobile mapping – Using a combination of handheld computers, GPS receivers, digital mapping systems and GIS software we facilitate powerful mobile mapping solutions in any project that requires location based data collection. We carry out field operations to acquire and/or improve data quality standards for current and future use by our clients and partners.
Spatial Analysis and predictive modeling – We provide vital support for decision making through geospatial analysis. By applying modern geospatial analysis methods, we provide project managers with an ability to understand the potential effects of existing or planned intervention prior to implementation. Opportunities to utilize spatial analysis include understanding site suitability, targeting project resources to maximize returns and ensuring the equitable distribution of activities over the life of a project.
Remote Sensing analysis – The Geospatial Services Team is able to process any kind of remotely sensed data including satellite imagery, aerial & terrestrial photography and radar and then deliver data products to project managers in useable formats. We work with the client to determine the need and consequently the most appropriate and cost effective path towards applying remotely sensed data.
Geospatial Capacity Building – The sustainability of project that uses geospatial technology is strongly dependent on delivering effective capacity building programs for project staff. From simple GPS receiver training, to more technically challenging remote sensing or spatial data management courses, we are able to build the required capacity for our clients.
GIS design and implementation – Our team work closely with project stakeholders to ensure that all deliverables expected from GIS investments are always practical, fully documented, and enhance overall project management and policy decision.
